Minister of Assimilation & Education
Jimbo Cash was born in Grand Prairie in 1963 to parents Woody and Sherry. Saved at the age of 4, Jimbo learned what it means to love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind. When he was 16 years old, Jimbo felt the call of God on his life and he surrendered to full-time ministry. After graduating High School in 1981, he enrolled in the Arlington Baptist College and began dating his future wife, Felicia. Jimbo graduated from ABC in 1986 and later was married that same year. He and Felicia served in churches in Ohio and Oklahoma before returning in 1990 to Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas, their home church. There, Jimbo led worship for 19 years. In January of 2010, Jimbo and Felicia joined the Willow Park Baptist Church to lead the music ministries. Jimbo enjoys sports of all kinds and especially enjoys refereeing basketball. Their oldest daughter, Brittni, is married to McCauley Austin, who is the Pastor of the Friendswood Baptist Church in Friendswood, Texas. In 2011, the Lord blessed Jimbo and Felicia with one AMAZING grandson, Asher Wayne Austin who has rocked their world. Then in 2013 grandson number 2 Oliver James made his presence known...unfortunately, they too live in Friendswood! Their youngest daughter, Kaci, is currently working for First Financial Bank in Aledo and attending college. In May of 2012 Jimbo took over the assimilation and educational ministries of WPBC.
