Our Women's Ministry seeks to connect women and lead them to a personal relationship with Christ; challenging them to know and love Him through prayer and diligent study of His Word; compelling them to pattern their lives according to His Word; teaching them to utilize their gifts in serving others, in hope that they may be a vibrant example of Christ in their home, church and community.

Woman to Woman Mentoring Ministry
“Mentoring is a relationship,
a commitment and a step of faith.
It is helping another woman
discover God's plan for her life
and maximize their own
unique impact for the Kingdom.
It is a faith defined as
giving God the opportunity to
fulfill His promise through our lives."
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Women of All Ages Welcome
If you feel God’s nudge to be a mentor and share in another woman’s life by using what God has done in your life to encourage and assist her in the glorious walk of a Christian woman …
If you are a woman who has been feeling the need to talk to another Christian woman who has “been in your shoes” and with God’s help made it through and wants to support and encourage you as a mentee at this time in your Christian life …
“But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us. That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto His kingdom and glory. “
(1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, 12 KJV).
“One generation shall praise thy works to another and shall declare thy mighty acts”
(Psalm 145:4 KJV).

“WPBC God’s Caring & Comforting Helpers is a team of women who are available to assist in providing comfort to those members of WPBC who may be experiencing the death of a loved one or caring for the terminally ill. Our goal is to provide loving support and the comfort of Christ during these difficult times.
Our mission comes from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
Here are a couple of ways that you can help with this ministry:
- Prepare a meal & bring to the church for delivery to the one in need
- Bring a gift card for a meal that will be given to a member in need
