In May of 2006, Clark Bosher was called to be the Pastor of the Willow Park Baptist Church. For almost 15 years Pastor Clark had traveled as an evangelist. During this time he preached hundreds of revivals, crusades, camps, youth rallies, and harvest days. He and his family traveled to 45 different states during this time. When he came to WPBC he brought a passion to see God move in a mighty way. His vision is that WPBC would be true to the Word of God and that it would be unwavering in their sacrificial commitment to tell the world that Jesus saves. Pastor Clark says, “these things I know will never go out of style: Jesus, the church, and the anointed preaching of God’s Word.”

 

Not long after coming to WPBC, God gave Pastor Clark a vision for the church to relocate and build a totally new church campus. After much prayer and planning, on the last Sunday of January 2023, we moved into our new facility here at 777 Crown Pointe Blvd. It consists of a auditorium, children’s and adult education spaces, two playgrounds, a spacious foyer, and coffee shop. Eventually we will have 120,000 square foot youth and gym facility with classrooms, walking track, locker rooms, and a full commercial kitchen. On the North side of the property, we will have a bus barn and will eventually have a 250 seat chapel for weddings, funerals, and connection classes. We have two acres on Interstate 20 that will one day have a giant cross. These are exciting times. We as a church have determined to do all we can to love and reach people for Jesus Christ. Our Eternal Mission has not changed, “and Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing the in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20.

 

In May of 2024 we celebrate 30 years as a church here in Parker County, we could never repay our founding pastor, Dr. Jerry Towles, and those who have come before us. Our Pastor, Clark Bosher, always remind us that ‘our best days have yet to come’ and that our ‘Eternal Mission’ has not changed. May WPBC always be a light house pointing people to Jesus Christ.
