The fruit of the womb is His reward and we want each child to know the love of Christ when they are in the house of the Lord here at the Willow Park Baptist Church Nursery.
We have a team of nursery workers and volunteers prepared to show each child God’s amazing love He has for them and encourage them to be followers of Christ. Our goal is to help begin their spiritual journey by being planted in the house of the Lord.

USEFUL INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
We are open 45 minutes prior to each service.
The person picking up the child, MUST have a tag ID or a picture of the tag ID.
If your are needed during service we will post the tag number on the screen in the (upper right corner and/or we will text you.
CHECK-IN
While you are worshiping, we have a group of devoted nursery workers and volunteers who will care for your child and teach them God’s Word. Although our nursery is one large area, we have several rooms for your child to interact with his/her age group.
0-6 months, 7-12 months, 13-18 months,
19-24 months and 2-3 years of age.
All ages will hear Christ-centered nursery songs. Ages 0-12 months will be told of God’s love for them. Ages 1-2 years will be taught a simple Bible story. Ages 2-3 years will transition into a Bible story room to be taught a more interactive Bible story.
We believe God’s Word is foundational truth and it is our heart’s desire to help train a child in our care ~ no matter how young. Our prayer is that as God’s word is spoken over your child they may begin to hide it in their hearts, build a strong foundation and have a passion for Him that starts now!

Melonie was born in Stamford, Tx in 1972 and was raised to love and trust the Lord. At the age of 7, she accepted Christ as her Savior at First Baptist Church in Stamford. About a year later she and her family moved to Odessa, Tx where she eventually met, Dewayne, her love and the one God provided to journey through life together. They married in January 1994. God moved her, her husband and 4 crazy, fun blessings (Alexandria, Macee, Britt, and Zane) to Weatherford in August of 2009. After a year’s search for a church home, they found it here at Willow Park Baptist Church in March of 2011. Another blessing, Sawyer, was born in late 2012. Their family continues to grow as they welcomed a son-in-law, Andrew, in September 2022. Family and church family have always been an invaluable part of her life. Serving as the the Nursery Coordinator is truly a special opportunity for her to serve the Lord and share the love of Christ with even the youngest of God’s creations.
